The kitchens of Centro Canalejas Madrid prepare 1,000 meals a day for the most vulnerable
Commitment and solidarity spread faster than any virus. The Canalejas Center Madrid, designed by Estudio Lamela, was scheduled to open in May. It will no longer be possible due to Covid-19, but is still active. In their kitchen, chef Dani García’s team prepares 1,000 meals a day for vulnerable families in nine districts of Madrid. They’ve called it “Cooking from the heart of Madrid” and it carries the hashtag Queremos #SerÚtiles (We Want to #BeUseful). There’s no doubt that solidarity beats in the Center of Madrid.
