Centro Canalejas awarded as ‘Best Construction Work’ by The College of Civil, Channels and Ports Engineers

The College/Institute of Civil, Channels and Ports Engineers has granted the Prize for the Best Construction Work to Centro Canalejas, designed by Estudio Lamela, in the 13th edition of its prestigious awards.

 The jury valued “the architectural challenge that involved integrating modern architecture into a historical complex”.

Almost a decade of work for a development that will change the centre of Madrid for generations. An honour that we share with all those who made it possible: MC2, BG, BAMO, Luis Bustamante, Avroko, Martin Brudnizki and, especially, OHL. Without its visionary and daring gaze this milestone would never have been possible.
