Estudio Lamela Participates in Grupo Vía’s Healthcare Architecture Conference

Estudio Lamela participated in a new edition of the Healthcare and Senior Living Architecture conference organised by Grupo Vía in Madrid, an event that brought together architecture firms specialising in the design of hospitals, healthcare facilities and senior living developments.

Representing Estudio Lamela, Santiago Fajardo presented the new Virgen de la Esperanza Hospital in Málaga. During his presentation, he explained the organisation of the complex, which is composed of two volumes connected by a public plaza and linked to the existing Maternal and Children’s Hospital and Civil Hospital.

The presentation also addressed issues related to the flexibility and adaptability of healthcare spaces, as well as the industrialisation of elements such as corridors, operating theatres, building services modules, and façades.
