Reimagining a Landmark: Estudio Lamela to Transform the Historic Generali Building into Four Seasons Hotel Sevilla
Estudio Lamela will develop the architectural project for Blasson Property Investments of the future Four Seasons Hotel Sevilla, located in the historic Generali Building in Plaza Nueva.
The project involves the comprehensive refurbishment of this building, originally constructed in 1957, preserving its original façades and the main elements that define its architectural identity, while adapting the property to the standards of a five-star luxury hotel.
The intervention includes 55 guestrooms, restaurant and dining areas, a basement spa and a rooftop swimming pool, as well as the reorganisation of the interior spaces to accommodate the requirements of its new hotel use. The hotel responds to a smaller-scale concept than is usual for Four Seasons, proposing an approach that is more closely integrated into the historic and urban fabric of Plaza Nueva.
Four Seasons Hotel Sevilla is the fourth project developed by Estudio Lamela for Four Seasons, a collaboration that also includes Four Seasons Madrid, Four Seasons Formentor and Four Seasons Greece Porto Heli, currently under development.
