Commemorative Exhibition: Antonio Lamela (1926–2017)

To mark the centenary of Antonio Lamela’s birth, and as part of the 23rd Architecture Week, a series of activities has been organised to celebrate his life, work, and professional legacy.

From 2 October to 10 December, the COAM will host the exhibition “Antonio Lamela. Architect 1926–2017,” tracing his career through architectural models, photographs, drawings, and audiovisual material. The exhibition will be officially presented on 6 October at 7:00 p.m.

To commemorate the centenary, a large-format book dedicated to Antonio Lamela has also been published, featuring an extensive selection of photographs of his projects.

These initiatives are complemented by the documentary “Antonio Lamela, EL VIAJE”, produced by CLARQ FILMS. Set to premiere in December, the film offers a more intimate and personal perspective on the architect and his life.
