Porcelanosa awards the architectural work of Estudio Lamela

Porcelanosa Group has awarded Estudio Lamela for its architectural work. The Spanish giant of tiles and ceramics set between tradition and innovation, in its 12th Porcelanosa Awards has acknowledged the Studio for its 70 years of work and its commitment to sustainability, quality, and the environment.

The award was received on May 30 by Carlos Lamela, the executive president of Estudio Lamela who continues the work started by his dad, Antonio Lamela, one of the first Spanish architects of the 20th century.

The event highlighted the internationalization work by Carlos Lamela within a Studio that has signed over 2,000 projects of different types and sectors such as large infrastructure projects and airport terminals. At the end, Carlos shares: “The architect must listen to the world’s voice, draw ideas, build bridges, and imagine projects that reflect the echo of a society with new needs and old desires.”
