The Four Seasons Madrid Hotel opens its doors tomorrow friday
After more than eight years of work, the Gran Hotel de Lujo Four Season Madrid opens its doors tomorrow at the Centro Canalejas, which also houses an exclusive retail area of 15.000 ms, 22 luxury homes managed by the hotel chain itself and a parking garage for 400 spaces.
There are many unique spaces that the visitor will discover in this unrepeatable establishment. The most spectacular room is surely the Royal Suite, which occupies what was the office of the general directors of Banco Español de Crédito since the 1920s. It has about 400 m2 and in its long history it was also a reading room at the Casino de Madrid.
From the upper floors the views are a privilege. You can see practically the entire city, the landscape from the rooftops, and, closer, the spectacular quadriga that tops the BBVA building on the other side of Calle Alcalá.
The 200 rooms of the hotel are individually designed, so that each one has its peculiarities, its own design and decoration.
The hotel is accessed through the lobby, the former operations yard of the Banco Español de Crédito, one of the most spectacular spaces in the building. Slender green marble columns and a beautiful stained glass window on the ceiling of the Maumegean house define the space, to which the incorporation of thousands of totally restored original pieces integrated into the different areas of the building has contributed.
Dani García’s restaurant also opens its doors on the roof. Your space at the Four Seasons will begin with the brasserie formula in one of the best locations, overlooking the quadriga.
The Hotel also has a ‘spa’ and a 14-meter indoor pool.
