MADNUM Méndez Álvaro Earns LEED Platinum Certification for Excellence in Sustainable Design

We’re proud to share that the MADNUM Méndez Álvaro office complex has achieved LEED Platinum certification, the highest international distinction in environmental sustainability. This recognition highlights the project’s forward-thinking approach to design, energy efficiency, and user well-being.

The development seamlessly integrates renewable energy systems, combining photovoltaic and solar thermal technologies to reduce its environmental footprint. Its commitment to active and low-emission mobility is reflected in a well-connected network that includes double-height bicycle parking with direct access, changing rooms in each building, and dedicated areas for electric scooters. Internal cycling routes link directly to the city’s external bike lane system, encouraging a healthier and more sustainable way to commute.

The complex also promotes responsible transport with electric vehicle charging stations, carpooling spaces, and accessible parking bays (PMR)—further underscoring its inclusive and environmentally conscious design.
