REAL MADRID: RESIDENCE OF THE FIRST TEAM AND ACADEMY RESIDENCE
To respond to the high demands of a football club like Real Madrid, industrialized in rise modules were chosen to build the residences of the First Team and the Academy Residence in the Ciudad Deportiva de Valdebebas (Madrid).
A football club of the world dimension of Real Madrid has high and precise demands. The objective was to provide as much comfort to the Academy Residence as to the players and the coaches of the First Team. As for the First Team, 60 rooms were designed (34 individual and 26 double) distributed between 2 floors. Every room was carried out with industrialized modules that were produced on site by the company Modultec, which allowed them to be manufactured in a few days and assembled in just months.
As for the Academy Residence of Real Madrid C.F., a building was designed that looks like and overlay of two elongated concrete prisms with a glazed and intermediate strip (first floor).
The lower layer houses the common areas and the basement (parking and installations), while the interior common areas are set in the intermediate strip, and the upper layer accommodates the rooms and the adjoined lounges.
The building was constructed on a framework of industrialized modules also which resulted in saving time to focus on improving the finishes and the overall delivery quality.
