A unique project: A space dedicated to the research of Alzheimer, a day center for 40 people, a space designed to educate family members about the disease, and a center to accommodate 162 patients.
A multidisciplinary building which brings together a center for research into the disease, a day center for 40 people, a training center for family members and an area for up to 162 residents.
This is a pioneer experience in this type of residences. The project is designed to investigate the evolution of patients from the origin of the disease until its final stage. The building is thus a model, the fundamental premise of which is for it to be exportable to other sites. It consists of various modules of 16 rooms each that are connected by spacious corridors. The garden is a particularly important feature and constitutes another element of therapy.
