OPEN-BOX /
RESIDENTIAL BUILDING
IN SANCHINARRO

The proposal envisions a stable, seamless, and simple volumetric design with an open-block configuration that complies with urban planning requirements.
The building’s geometry defines a large space dedicated to common areas, while the site’s topography is strategically utilized to accommodate various functions serving the residences.
The interior courtyard is designed to provide natural light and ventilation to laundry areas and primary bathrooms, effectively replacing the traditional drying racks in most cases.
The stepped volume creates apartments with spacious terraces, strategically oriented to maximize the number of non-countable terraces. This design also ensures excellent views of the expansive communal green space.
The project features an open-block layout, supported by a solar study that guarantees shadow-free façades and abundant natural light in interior spaces.
Sustainable materials enhance the building’s energy efficiency and improve the users’ comfort. Additionally, pergolas and continuous eaves provide sun protection, while façade planters integrate greenery into the design.
